Dear all,
No doubt you have noticed that Mark Dansie has been frequenting these columns a little less, lately, and for a number of good reasons. One of them being that – as you are aware from past articles here – he’s feverishly working on a whole range of products, inventions and innovations. Luckily that is now just about to bear fruit, and much of the work is nearing completion.
That’s the good news.
The bad news is, unfortunately, that Mark, a few days ago, was confronted with the completely unexpected and devastating news of the passing of a very close family member. Of course he had to drop everything he was working on and travel to Australia, in order to be able to attend to the funeral.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go with him, and to his family and friends.
Obviously for a while Mark won’t be able to post much, if anything at all. He will probably return around mid-next week from Australia, and hopefully will be able to pick up “normal” life, insofar that’s possible after such a loss. In the meantime I would like to thank Simon and Ken for holding the fort and presenting us all with their valuable and knowledgeable insights and contributions.
